Palm Springs Art Museum

Located in the heart of downtown Palm Springs, the Palm Springs Art Museum features an impressive collection of art, donated or loaned by the area's most affluent residents. The museum has a wonderful and eclectic collection, including works from Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, Ansel Adams, and Mark Chagall. Spanning over 150,000 square feet, the museum offers displays of paintings, sculptures, glass, architecture and design, and photography. The museum also boasts a major collection of Native American and Western art.

  • Are there tours of the Museum?

    Docent-led tours highlighting the permanent collections and special exhibitions start in the Hibbert Orientation Center. Group tours, docent-led or self-guided, may be arranged by contacting us at least two weeks in advance. To arrange for a student tour, call 760-322-4886.
  • What art can I see at the museum?

    The Palm Springs Art Museum showcases modern and contemporary painting and sculpture from West Coast, international and Native American artists. The museum has an incredible collection of glass, fine art photography, modern paintings and art of the west. Check out the Studio Art Glass by Dale Chihuly and Karen LaMonte, and Classic Western American Art by Thomas Moran and Charles Russell.
