Pleasant Stay

I stayed in this hotel because of the very good price compared to other places in Palm Springs. It was about a 5 minute drive from the main downtown strip and basically anything else you're going to want to do in the area. It has lots of parking. The restaurant on site is only open for breakfast and lunch (last call at 1:45pm) but there are a million places to eat within a walk or drive. The pool was warm and clean with lots of seating around the edges as well as lawn chairs and fresh towels. There are shaded areas and a hot tub (but I didn't use that.) Vending machines are at the pool but I didn't use it. it's only a short walk from any hotel room. The room itself was nice - it could use a bit of a face lift. The only issue I had was I couldn't open the sliding door to the little chairs outside the room. I also couldn't get the pool gate open the first day but the concierge fixed that with a key exchange. Wifi was not great but it probably depends on where you are. Over all I enjoyed it and even stayed an extra night than originally planned. I felt safe there at night and during the day. It was very quite and had a comfy bed and lots of stations on the TV. The staff I dealt with were all helpful and nice. I would definitely come back and recommend it for budget-friendly or solo travellers

Very pleasant stay

Best things about this hotel: (1) Proximity to Palm Springs airport (2) Large beautifully landscaped pool and spa (3) fresh smelling large rooms (4) friendly check-in and check-out (5) Rick's restaurant onsite - limited hours but awesome breakfast. Only small negative was lack of hotel provided breakfast but Rick's made up for this

Average stay

Last minute booking for a quick overnight-er in Palm Springs area. Hotel is OK, nothing super duper, no real problems. Average hotel, about what I expected. I noted one problem with the toilet seat being loose. Anyone cleaning the room after a guest stay should have noticed the issue and notified maintenance. What make an average hotel a very good hotel is attention to details

Good do with an upgrade.

Stayed here for 2 nights at New year. We had a ground floor room facing car park, happy with that as we did not have carry luggage up to the next floor. The down side of a ground floor room is you can hear the people upstairs walking about did not seem to be much insulation between floors and walls.Has it was 1st of January when we checked in we did not use the AC but needed it for heat, did not find it to noisy. The room was very large and clean as was the bathroom. You have to be careful the loo is right behind the door. Our large king size bed was very comfortable. Ground floor rooms did not feel very secure small lock but we had a bar across one side to stop the door from opening it could be opened so you could get you bags out of your car. Did not use the pool but it looked very nice with a view of the mountains. No restaurant in the hotel but on site was Ricks but with limited hours the main one was one block away. The food was great
