Palm Springs Aerial Tramway

Ride up the vertical cliffs of Chino Canyon on the Palm Springs Tramway, offering panoramic views of the beautiful mountain and valley landscapes. The "World's Largest Rotating Tramcar" takes you 8,500 feet high to the San Jacinto Mountains and miles of hiking and cross-country ski trails in the pristine wilderness of Mount San Jacinto State Park. Trek to the 10,834 foot peak of Mt. San Jacinto or enjoy a nature walk through the breathtaking Long Valley behind the Mountain Station. Enjoy dining at Peak's Restaurant, a food experience in the clouds, or sip cocktails at the Lookout Lounge.

    As you ride up the sheer cliffs of Chino Canyon, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the Palm Springs area. From the top of the Mt. San Jacinto you can take in breathtaking views of the mountains, wilderness area and the Coachella Valley.
  • How long are the tram rides?

    Enjoy the 10-minute journey from the Valley Station at an elevation of 2,643 feet to the Mountain Station at 8,516 feet. The tram ascends 2.5 miles up the St. Jacinto Mountains to a spectacular wilderness area, trails and wonderful restaurants.
